You should have some understanding of what social media is and what you would like to achieve with it, but you don’t need any technical skills (eg coding) and you are not expected to know all jargon and functions of social media platforms. The main purpose of labeling this Advanced Social Media Marketing is to differentiate from those offering simplistic and ‘walkthrough’ type sessions – “this is how you add a photo, this is where you post a comment” etc. Though do bring your laptop to reference learning throughout the day if you wish.
